why not let people buy 2nd specialization or more with higher price ( 200-250k token) instead create new character just for 2nd spec?
i'm playing priest, so if i create alt character just for weapons spec i have 2 choice:
1. move all wood to alt to level up woodcraft.
2. level up woodcraft twice.
if i choose 1, everytime i need craft anything that require not only wood i must send materials through mail to alt and it limited 25 item. another problem is trinket and pendant is soulbound. if i got an epic weapon when exchange from elder fragment and want enchant to use it, i must level up woodcraft my main character.

I too have 4 toons with each of them a different specialism and really do not see any reason why one character should have more than one spcialization.
I was happy to have a good reason for my alts to level up their skills now, instead of thinking the game should change to match my own reluctancy to level up crafting again on an alt.

I can understand having to mail your alt all the materials to level up any skill has its limitations, but seeing how fast our gathering levels up compared to crafting, I see no issues in gaining the materials on your alt themselves. You could ask another player to assist you with transferring your materials via trade instead.

To me both sides has merit. I'll join the minority in this case ;) I'd alter the suggestion to make a 2nd specialization cost Crowns (Otters get fed) and tokens (same price as 1st one). Some people just prefer to focus on a single character (could be due to time constraint, playstyle, etc). And while trading is always an option, it definitely is more comfortable to do things by yourself. This way people with alts can have multiple specializations for "free" (no real world cash spent), while those who focus on one character have the option to have more specializations (while supporting the game)

This seems to be a fair proposal.

To my mind, this comes down to whether the Devs want to promote trade, or self sufficiency.

If the aim is to try to increase the value and worth of eg the AH, then retaining the staus quo of one specialisation as is the case now, is the way to go - possibly combined with increasing the number of possible specialisations further to go beyond the number of character slots (though don't ask me for suggestions of what those might be, beyond as has already been suggested by others a jewellery specialisation).

If the aim is to make players able to be totally self sufficient, then increase the number of specialisations - though personally I rather think that defeats the purpose of even having them.
