Under gathering changes in the patch notes I took this quote:
"After a node is exhausted, it will take somewhere between 21 and 30 minutes for the node to refresh and become usable again. Logging out or changing zones will not hurry this process along"
This is only for wild nodes, in the village we can refresh nodes by visiting the village board.
Be certain never to click on an exhausted node or you might be kicked from the game.
i should have read more carefully... I am not talking about exhausted nodes.
I will rephrase: I gather for five minutes, then go do something else (the node is NOT exhausted when I leave it). If/when I come back to that particular node, will it remember my brief gather session and the count down continue from where I left off....
or will it consider this a new session and the clock starts over.

@Diet

PS: not complaining, just trying to understand so I can plan ahead and re-adjust my habits, thank you.

As I posted elsewhere, I believe it "remembers" for a while, but "forgets" over time. But I am not certain on this.

If you exhaust a node fully, it takes 21-30 minutes to refresh.

If you partially exhaust a node (e.g. gather for 5 minutes then leave) the node will eventually refill itself, but takes several hours. So if you come back an hour later, it might exhaust on you in just a few minutes since it remembers you were there before. However if you come back the next day it should be enough time for it to be fully refreshed.

"Botting does cause some harm to the game. It leads to inflation for one thing. "
The only place being inflated is the persons bank. It sure as heck isn't the dead and wasteful auction house.
What a horrible mess once again... I mean nerf speed, then it was starting inventory slots being decreased, then new people start with 2 characters instead of 3... Then add a cluster of mobs in the range that people keep saying is when the majority of people LEAVE!.. oh nerf gear to RNG based casino with starbust xpac. what else? oh increase travel prices lol

Literally the worst lol

I 'm gathering ore in Zorian and in the cave the visiblility is not really good with all the vines hanging from the ceiling. So when the node exhausted I clicked ONCE on an empty node and was kicked from the game immediately :(

'IM NOT a botter!

I believe this a bug which will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Instead, send a customer support ticket or bug report. Clearly type out what you saw and what happened. Make sure to include the player’s exact name! Screenshots are a HUGE plus.

How do i report a player that just has ??????????? symbols.
The ????????? players that i clicked on in the past have been banned or they have reached 90 max lvl don't do it or found a new cheat system. A few months back I could click on the folks mining a spot and that would cause there toon to stop and just stand there and wobble and i would venture back that way an hour later and still doing the same thing, just standing there with a wobble and thats how i knew (well guessed) i interrupted there bot.
Anyhow how do i send a ticket in for that, um a person with 5 ????? symbols is at again.
So i would continue playing and never put a ticket in and calling out for a mod is useless and they all on the other side of the world with different time zone.
bug report with screenshot Shift+Alt+B explain in body why you are sending in the report

People should absolutely submit tickets to help out, but encouraging players to try to police this issue (ESPECIALLY by jumping between toons and nodes) is ludicrous.
I just experienced this in Ardent. I've just finished running a zone for a quest and trying to get raw mats taken care of to free bag space, and to be constantly interrupted when you're trying to craft is nuts. It's irritating. I play in mobile, and tapping things in the screen is difficult sometimes. It's fine if you want to take matters in your own hands, but when you see the toon is struggling to craft, don't you think that should be a sign they aren't bots? IMO when you constantly cause inconvenience to someone, that should be considered as rude or being a troll.

I don't think players try to police people who are crafting. The player may have just been bored and wanted to annoy a random person.

Some stand there then spam you with whispers asking if you're a bot, others run around my toon trying to see whether she'd stop crafting and stare at them.

Ardent City is a great place to craft because all stations are near the vault and vendors, which makes it easy to go back and forth. Makes me think the only way I can get peace is if I craft in my village even my house is far from the stations.

It says your platform is Android, so of all people you should know how hard it is to navigate in mobile. It's pretty limited, and makes multitasking hard (replying to whispers, checking your current action etc.) It's a big deal - at least for me, since I have a 6.5in screen phone and this is the ONLY gadget I have at the moment. Also, I don't want to spend hours trying to finish an action then rage quitting since you can't really do anything with these people "annoying" you except ignore them. (And to think I have been playing for two months and my block button has outdone itself.)

Some players are just trying to go about their day and I guess some people use THIS as an excuse to go be the game police. I have done my fair share, I have observed once and sent a bug report (combat related) but I have never interrupted them doing something since it makes it more obvious you're trying to spot them. Isn't sending reports more appropriate than having to interrupt a toon? Don't you think it's more peaceful that way? The instructions specifically say to describe what they are doing and include SS if possible. Why then exert so much effort interrupting someone?

Some people might've misunderstood the post about taking matter through their own hands, maybe that's why they are doing this.. or you may be right - let's say they're just being jerks because they got bored. But it's wrong.

If I'm forced to adjust just because some people try to be vigilantes by going overboard on this whole spot-the-bot issue then its unhealthy. Last thing I want to have in a game is a toxic environment.

What you are describing is harassment and against the tos. Not suggesting you didn't try this but sometimes asking them to stop helps. You can also try blocking to stop them from whispering to you. If all of that fails you may want to report them.
This is exactly what Diet warned about, players taking the TOS into their own hands instead of simply taking a screenshot and reporting it.

So if this does happen, report it yourself. No one should be subjected to this type of harassment in the game.

Yikes. I've never experienced being bothered while crafting on US3 so didn't think that was an issue. That would definitely tick me off though.

But yet again, we have recently had a string of players using these exploits. Very. Aggravating.

We will be devoting some time in an upcoming build to prevent these issues on the game-side of things so players won’t even be able to use these programs. This of course takes precious developer time away from working on other cool things for the game, which is such a shame. Exploiters ruin everything, and we have zero tolerance for them.
I was wondering if gathering could be made a little more interesting while at the same time penalizing bot users?. My thought is that unused repair Globules explode doing damage over time which can "just" be prevented using Healing potions, perhaps there could even be a slight gather bonus for staying alive after an explosion or using a repair? and when tools break, player also takes damage, requiring Health potions, or healing spell ,this way cheaters die and gathering becomes a little more exciting for those who dont cheat, Ty for reading.

I would love to see a Crown Item(Soul or Account bound) that allows us to gather Repair orbs that are not needed atm when using blue supplies. I hate it when I use one and my tool is at full health then 3 more pop up and are wasted. I would like to have the ability to be able to save up to 10 repair orbs of a certain type (based on 10% repair rate) and make a bottle of repair orbs that last for 1 day before orbs disapate.
