Any future changes and improvements to the forums will be posted in this thread - think of it as forum patch notes :)

  • The "Forums" button in the PC version of the game now correctly links to the new forums.
  • Long user names in posts will now shrink instead of being cut off.
  • Improved embed code so that pages with a lot of Youtube videos or other embedded media now have improved performance.
  • Added support for more embedded media such as Gfycat, Twitch and more.
  • Added pages at the bottom of "What's New" so that if you have a lot of unread threads, you can now step through all of them.
  • Made various minor performance improvements (offloading jquery and icon libraries).

  • Removed the Roleplaying and Fan Friday subforums, and created a new subforum: Fan Content. This is the central place for anything related to fanmade content, including anything that would have gone in the two removed subforums. This way there is now an obvious place to share anything you make, regardless of whether you want to enter it for Fan Friday or not. See this thread for more details.
  • Added post prefixes for patch notes and Fan Friday threads. This will give those threads unique art which makes them stand out more in the thread list. In the future, this may apply to other kinds of posts as well.
  • Changed the font of the Sticky thread banners to be more readable.

  • Alerts now automatically mark as read when you view the content they alert you about.

  • Forum reports are now consolidated in a central moderator control panel which allows for easy management. While this will not be visible to non-moderators, in practice it means that everyone's reports will be dealt with faster, so that spam and hostile behavior will be addressed in less time.
